Pellegrini-Stieda Disease

Discussion

Pellegrini-Stieda Disease is a form of Myositis Ossificans or soft tissue ossification that may occur a few weeks following an avulsion of the origin of the medial collateral ligament. It is usually seen in younger patients and may resolve with time.
