63 y/o with incidental finding.
Image Findings
The T1-weighted images show a well circumscribed, low signal masses in the choroid plexus of the atria of both lateral ventricles. The T2-weighted image shows these masses to have very bright signal.
Differential Diagnosis
Choroid plexus papilloma
Ependymoma
Astrocytoma
Meningioma
Metastasis
Discussion
Choroid Plexus Cysts are epithelial-lined cysts that usually occur bilaterally in the atria of the lateral ventricles. The symmetry and the smooth margins go against neoplastic lesions.
