Findings

A high density fluid collection is noted along the left cerebral convexity. Mild associated midline shift and mass effect is present.

Discussion

Subdural hematomas are collections of blood between the dura and arachnoid meninges. They are usually associate with direct head trauma causing venous bleeding from bridging veins. Elderly patients are at a higher risk of subdural hematomas.
